1985 Switzerland

We have been camping in Europe for many years; I forget exactly how long. Originally Carol and I used what was billed as a four-man ridge tent but we found it comfortable for the two of us. Four would have been very cozy. In 1985 we took it to Switzerland and stayed near Interlaken, our tent door facing the magnificent north face of the Eiger. We were lucky enough to enjoy very good weather, which is all too often not the case where mountains are involved!

Switzerland conjures images of blue lakes, green alpine valleys, snow-capped mountains and glaciers. Here is a selection of pictures trying to give flavour of that from our trip.
